2011 was a huge success with people leaving simply happier than when they came having made new connections, friends and possibly a go at the bicycle jousting!

Spirit of Folk celebrates the shamanic path in lots of different ways. Whilst we honored more traditional spiritual practices such as healing, ritual and ceremony in our spirituality area, which had a healing yurt hosting a number of acupuncture, reiki and massage practitioners, a shamanic dome where shamanic and druidic practitioners celebrated the autumn equinox and a drumming tipi where the sound of the drum could be heard through the earth, we also honored other activities which nourish the spirit. This included falconry, archery, storytelling, living history and some of the best live folk and trad music Ireland has to offer.

Spirit of Folk is on its way for 2012 and you can participate in so many ways. Come along for the weekend, bring your family, bring your friends and be part of something really special.
